Are you tired of striking out? Have you been wanting to get balled and struck? Well, you’re in luck! This trail will have you whipping it out at the ball game after a lovely river crossing and a tour through beautiful south Oildale. There will be a chance for a dip in the wonderful Kern River, and maybe a full-on slog across it (I haven’t decided yet), so bring a change of clothes with dry socks and shoes for later. After the circle, we will adjourn to the amazing Sam Lynn Ballpark to watch the Bakersfield Train Robbers do unspeakable things to the Martinez Sturgeons. It’s $2 beer night, so bring cash for quicker concessions. Tickets could be 2-10 dollars; assume it’s on the lower end, but be ready for 10.

Meet at 6:30 on Monday in the lot just west of the Sam Lynn field by the northernmost JBA field. Bring $5 for hash and extra for the game as well as a change of clothes if you don’t want to be damp if we get into the river.
