It’s been a minute since we last spoke. But have I got a trail for you numb****s this week. We will be adjourning at the one and only Casa Loma County Park.

This will be our "Hill of the House," where the views are breathtaking—mostly because the incline is designed to steal your oxygen and your dignity in equal measure. The area is likely to be pleasant, reminding you of early mornings or evenings

While the name "Casa Loma" (House on the Hill) suggests a rolling landscape, the park itself and the immediate surroundings are part of the typical San Joaquin Valley flatland. However, what it lacks in natural elevation, it makes up for in urban "shiggy."

If this is your first time hashing at Casa Loma, don’t worry. The rules are simple: follow the marks, shout "On-On" like you actually know where you’re going, and remember that shiggy is just nature’s way of giving you a free exfoliating treatment.

Needless to say, it will be shit-illy laid, but as always with good intentions. Let’s get out and on-on all over this small segment of East Bakersfield. Till Monday, on-out!
